I'm a huge fan of cute and quirky postcards. Whenever I see one, I am tempted to take it home! I decided to come up with my very own quirky postcards with cute invites. Let's go for brunch and Let's get some coffee.  Which other places would you like to be invited to? :)

Cofee L♥ve

I might have mentioned this a thousand times before but I love coffee!
Not just any coffee, but great coffee from small independent cafes. (with latte art on it!)
I know it's very "coffee-snob"-ish of me but I like supporting small businesses. Plus I enjoy sipping nice coffee from makers who truly love their work and could craft the best tasting beverages!

Here's my little contribution to the great cafes I have visited and loved in the past years from 4 different cities: Toronto, Bangkok, Montreal and Tokyo! This is just part 1 of my collection, and the rest is yet to come!

 I had quite a blast collecting information and drawing these coffee cups. I might start doing more line work from pen/ink because of this project!

Coffee Shop Hopping!

I was in Montreal these past couple of days! I've had a chance to fill my stomach with good food and really experience the freezing Canadian winter this French Canada city has to offer ( and yes...all the -20 C of it!!!)

 One of my hobbies is to go coffee shop hopping. There is something about good coffee shops that I love...whether I go with friends or go in alone with a good book.

Of course, I couldn't miss a chance to visit local coffee shops in Montreal. Whenever I travel, I never forget to taste the coffees and teas the cities have to offer!

 Here are some of my favorite coffees shops I've been to in the past couple of years!


Le Couteau/The Knife in Mont-Royal, Montreal, Quebec. Honestly the best soy mocha I've ever had!

Bonjour Records Cafe in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Their mint-apple fizzy drink was especially good in the summer!

Cafe Little Spoon in Asoke, Bangkok, Thailand. Very cute and cozy. Plus, I loved this smiley face latte very much!

And lastly, I went to this cafe in Sinchon, Seoul, South Korea. Unfortunately I did not remember the name. The mocha was wonderful and the cafe staff were very nice!

Next time I might post local cafes in Toronto! There are so many places I have yet to visit!

Brunch time with you

Coffee shop touring has recently become one of my favorite hobbies. Before going, I research on places with the best coffee/tea and the best interior in each city. I often meet friends for a chat or go in by myself for a nice sketching or reading time. On my most recent coffee shop tour, I got an idea for this illustration. Brunch time with you.
