metamorphosis

New illustration!
This piece is called metamorphosis.

Lately, I have decided to paint simpler and bring a more graphic approach to my paintings. Please let me know what you think!! 'w'

p.s.-I have been enjoying painting more than ever. I think it's a fantastic early Christmas present for me! Plus, I have an intuition, 2012 will be super busy but great for me (both illustration and personal wise!)

Enjoy! And HAPPY CHRISTMAS! ☆

Illustration on CMYK is out!

CMYK 51 is out!

I just came back from my trip and this was in my mail box!!!

Thank you for featuring my work! Please check the magazine at bookstores everywhere!

CMYK 51!!

Exciting news this week!

I recently found out that I won CMYK 51's illustration awards!! It was my last year to be eligible to enter CMYK and I figured I might as well try and enter :) I am very happy and thankful for my winning entry.

The piece that won is my Irasshaimase piece I did for last Valentine's Day which I had mentioned in this post earlier. I had a great time painting this fun piece for Sadie's Diner!

Thank you so much CMYK! It certainly is rewarding to know that your work is getting recognized. I will post updates again once I receive the issue which comes out mid-October. Please look for it at bookstores everywhere!
